Tech Stirrups® Venice EVO Safety Stirrups
Tech Stirrups are manufactured with high-quality metal and have the widest opening available on the market. With the safety mechanism, the foot has to get the moving part open in case of a fall, and this part then goes back to a closed position automatically. The grip was specifically studied for the jumping and cross-country disciplines, ensuring the maximum wet and dry adhesion. Sold in Pairs.

First of all, these DO NOT run small. They are 4.75 with a lot of clearance. They are a bit taller than a Phyllis Iron. It is a light weight, wide tread stirrup with no angle. They will require stirrup covers to keep from damaging a saddle when put up. There is no noise when riding; however if your foot pushes against the outer bar there is a clicking sound as the magnetic mechanism parts and reconnects. ( I can only assume that is what happened to the last reviewer who said it kept opening- the outside of their foot was pressing on the mechanism as the same thing happened to me once during a lesson.) These are amazing safety stirrups for an experienced rider that doesn’t want to look like they are using safety stirrups; being half the price of Acavallo or Tech doesn’t hurt either. Totally Worth It!!!

For years I’ve used Kwik-Out safety stirrups, but I wanted to find some lighter weight stirrups and I am very happy with my purchase. At first they took some getting used to because the tred is wider than what I was accustomed to, but now I love the feel of extra stability and wouldn’t want to go back to regular stirrups.
