This is a very nice saddle for the price. There are only little issues that I can see right now. Nothing that I can’t fix though.
Pros
All the tack matches very well. The bridle fits a cob sized horse very well. The leather doesn’t feel cheap. It also says that the package doesn’t come with a flank cinch but I received a flank cinch. It is very comfortable to sit in and will be more comfortable with some adjustments.
Cons
The stirrups are not what they show in the picture on this saddle but I can buy new ones that I like better. The latigo on the saddle doesn’t work well and will have to be replaced. The flank billets don’t have holes punched all the way through but again I can fix that. The stirrups are at their shortest and they are still way too long for me (5’7″ female) but I can punch more holes to make them work. The saddle is also a little long for my small horses back but that leather at the back is very soft so it moves with her. It also is almost to long for my saddle pad but again with adjustments it will work.
Again this is a really nice saddle package for the money. I’m excited to use it more.

This thing is fabulous! My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves going out on trail rides with us in this. Here are some things to note:
– It took us a few rides to figure out how it was supposed to be attached. It did not come with instructions and the seller didn’t email any after the order (as sellers sometimes do). Finally I googled it….the straps go through the buckles on the cinch…which is not intuitive at all. The 1st few rides we were able to use it by attaching it to the buckles for the latigo and chest strap, but it did slide around a bit. Now that it’s attached correctly it’s not going anywhere. So just know that if it “doesn’t work right” it might be bc it’s not attached where it’s designed to be attached.
– It’s way bigger (longer) than it appears in the photos. I had hoped to use it on either my Gypsy or my POA, but it won’t fit on anyone except my 15.2 quarter horse.
– You’re gonna need a bomb proof horse, a horse that’s packed before or be prepared to spend time working with your horse with it on before putting a kid in it. My horse is dead broke, absolutely bomb proof and has done a little of everything…but it does cover most of his ass….so if your horse has never worked with weight right up to their tailbone try it with a sack of potatoes first.
In short, on the right horse, this thing works great and my kid loves it.
